Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Chemical Sales Representative / Manager to drive B2B sales growth in the Gurugram and Delhi NCR region. You will identify new business opportunities, demonstrate product value, and secure long-term contracts for our commercial cleaning and hygiene chemical portfolios. Your primary targets will include luxury hotels, multi-specialty hospitals, corporate parks, and facility management companies (FMCs). [1]
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Map and target potential B2B clients across major corporate hubs like DLF Cyber City, Golf Course Road, and Sohna Road, Institutional and Industrial Sectors and other Commercial Hubs
- Conduct cold calls, field visits, and pitch presentations to Executive Housekeepers, Facility Managers, and Procurement Heads.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
Technical Demonstrations & Consultation
- Conduct live product demonstrations showcasing chemical dilution accuracy, cleaning efficiency, and cost-per-use advantages.
- Train client housekeeping staff on correct application methods, surface safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Recommend specific product lines (e.g., floor cleaners, disinfectants, degreasers) based on client surface types and hygiene standards.
Account Management & Retention
- Negotiate pricing, finalize annual rate contracts (ARCs), and manage end-to-end commercial documentation.
- Monitor inventory consumption at client sites to ensure timely replenishment and zero supply gaps.
- Resolve product performance issues or technical complaints promptly to maintain high client satisfaction. [1]
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven corporate sales experience specifically in industrial housekeeping chemicals, janitorial supplies, or commercial hygiene products.
- Preferred Background: Direct experience selling premium product ranges or working closely with leading Facility Management Companies (FMCs).
Core Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial chemical formulations, dilution control systems, pH parameters, and surface safety.
- Market Network: Active, existing relationships with facility managers and hospitality decision-makers within the Delhi NCR region.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
- Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler with a valid driving license for intensive daily field travel across Gurugram.
