About the Role
We are looking for passionate, experienced, and result-oriented IGCSE/GCSE tutors to join our global online tutoring team. This role is ideal for tutors who have strong subject knowledge, are familiar with the IGCSE/GCSE curriculum, and can provide personalised 1:1 online coaching to students across different countries and time zones.
Tutors will be responsible not only for teaching the syllabus but also for ensuring complete academic support through concept clarity, syllabus completion, past paper practice, revision, exam preparation, and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities1. Conduct a Free 60-Minute Demo Class
- Conduct a 60-minute online demo session for prospective students.
- Understand the student's current academic level, challenges, learning style, and goals.
- Deliver an engaging and effective session that demonstrates your teaching methodology and subject expertise.
- Convert interested students into regular enrolments through a strong and valuable learning experience.
2. Deliver Personalised 1:1 Online Classes
- Conduct engaging and structured one-to-one online tutoring sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods according to the student's learning needs and academic level.
- Ensure concepts are clearly explained and understood.
- Create a comfortable and interactive learning environment for students.
3. Complete the IGCSE/GCSE Curriculum
- Take complete ownership of the assigned student's academic journey.
- Plan and cover the required syllabus systematically as per the student's examination board and curriculum.
- Ensure timely completion of topics and chapters.
- Identify weak areas and provide additional support where required.
4. Paper Practice & Exam Preparation
- Conduct regular topic-wise, chapter-wise, and full-length paper practice.
- Use relevant past papers and exam-style questions.
- Prepare students for examination patterns, question formats, time management, and answering techniques.
- Provide detailed feedback and help students improve their performance.
5. Revision & Academic Support
- Plan regular revision sessions before assessments and examinations.
- Conduct targeted revision based on the student's strengths and weaknesses.
- Help students prepare through mock tests, worksheets, practice questions, and past papers.
- Ensure students are confident and exam-ready.
6. Attendance & Progress Tracking
- Maintain accurate attendance records for every class.
- Update student progress, completed topics, upcoming lessons, tests, and academic performance on the company website/LMS.
- Keep lesson and progress information updated regularly.
- Follow the academic and operational processes established by the organisation.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Strong academic background in the subject being taught.
- Previous experience teaching IGCSE/GCSE students is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with IGCSE/GCSE syllabus, curriculum structure, and examination requirements.
- Ability to teach students from different countries and educational backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Strong online teaching and student engagement skills.
- Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, online whiteboards, digital worksheets, and other online teaching tools.
- Ability to maintain professional communication and follow organisational processes.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable device for conducting online classes.
Compensation & Work Structure
This is a part-time, performance-based opportunity.
- Tutors will initially conduct a free 60-minute demo class for prospective students.
- Regular classes will be assigned based on students secured after successful demo sessions.
- The number of students and teaching hours may vary based on tutor availability, subject demand, performance, student retention, and successful conversions.
- Tutors can potentially work with students from different countries and time zones.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for tutors who can go beyond simply completing lessons. The ideal tutor should be able to take responsibility for the student's complete academic progress—from understanding the syllabus and building strong concepts to paper practice, revision, examination preparation, and performance improvement.
