Veeva Systems is expanding its global footprint with a new development centre in Hyderabad, India. This emerging and growing branch of Veeva is looking for Senior Software QA Engineer (Contract to Hire), to expand its global quality engineering efforts. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you'll be responsible for functional testing to deliver a top-quality SaaS product. This is a hands-on position playing a vital role in ensuring customer success with each new release. The ideal candidate should be Proactive, self-motivated, work independently with minimal supervision

- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Veeva AI application to support quality assurance activities across product releases
- Primarily perform manual testing to validate application functionality and ensure release readiness
- Coordinate with the QA manager for smooth transition and handshake of the QA deliverables.
- Work Closely with onsite QA engineers and product managers to deliver high quality software
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC processes and QA best practices
- Analyze business requirements and document test cases and test plan
- Hands on experience with manual testing methodologies both functional and API testing
- Experience working with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), various AI model verification and validation techniques, and testing AI-powered applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and user acceptance testing
- Expertise in Identifying, logging and verifying defects throughout the software testing lifecycle
- Experience with defect and test management tools like Jira and Xray
- Collaborate with onsite team by actively participating in meetings to ensure high quality software delivery
- Proactive, self-motivated, work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor junior team members and promote quality engineering best practices
- Experience working in the life sciences and healthcare industry
- Knowledge on SQL Queries
