Position Title
Marketing Manager – Dental Business Development & Sales
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead the Medical Sales Representative (MR) team while actively driving business development, expanding the dentist network, promoting laboratory services and Intra Oral Scanners, and achieving sales targets across Gujarat.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise Junior Medical Sales Representatives.
Allocate territories, monitor daily activities, and review team performance.
Conduct regular field visits with team members for coaching and support.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets.
Identify, onboard, and manage key dentist accounts across Gujarat.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dentists and ensure high satisfaction.
Support the team in converting prospective dentists into regular business accounts.
Promote and generate leads for Intra Oral Scanners; conduct demonstrations and assist in deal closures.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5–8 years of experience in healthcare, dental, medical device, or B2B sales.
Minimum 2 years of team handling experience preferred.
Work Schedule
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Field-based role with flexible working hours)
Travel: Daily field visits within Ahmedabad and frequent travel across Gujarat.
Coordinate with the laboratory and operations teams to ensure timely service for dentists.
Resolve escalated concerns from dentists professionally and promptly.
Monitor the sales pipeline, dentist database, and team reporting.
Submit weekly and monthly sales, performance, and market reports to management.
Identify market opportunities, competitor activities, and recommend business growth initiatives.
Represent the company at dental conferences, workshops, and promotional events.
Maintain professional conduct and uphold the company's reputation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve monthly team and individual sales targets.
Ensure all MRs complete the minimum daily dentist visit targets.
Personally onboard 4–6 key dentist accounts per month.
Generate and support Intra Oral Scanner sales as per monthly targets.
Maintain 85%+ retention of active dentist accounts.
Ensure 100% reporting compliance from the team.
Conduct regular field coaching and performance reviews for Junior MRs.
Achieve revenue targets as defined by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5–8 years of experience in healthcare, dental, medical device, or B2B sales.
