Job Summary
The Operations Manager – Facility Services is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of integrated facility management (IFM) services across assigned client locations. This role ensures high standards of service delivery, regulatory compliance, vendor performance, cost optimization, and client satisfaction while leading site teams and driving operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Manage day-to-day facility operations across assigned sites.
- Ensure seamless delivery of soft and hard facility management services in accordance with contractual requirements and SLAs.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and service standards are maintained.
Soft Services Management
- Oversee housekeeping, pantry, cafeteria, waste management, landscaping, and pest control services.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitor service quality and implement corrective actions where required.
Hard Services Management
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, UPS, plumbing, fire protection systems, elevators, and building management systems (BMS).
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance activities are completed as per schedule.
- Coordinate with technical teams and OEM vendors for repairs and maintenance.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding facility operations.
- Conduct regular client meetings and operational reviews.
- Address client concerns, resolve escalations promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and value-added initiatives.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage service providers and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
- Evaluate vendor performance through regular reviews and audits.
- Process vendor invoices and monitor contract renewals and statutory documentation.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections, fire drills, and emergency response exercises.
- Ensure all statutory certifications, licenses, and maintenance records are current.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage operational budgets.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure timely billing, invoice verification, and financial reporting.
- Track profitability and support financial planning.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop facility managers, engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Plan manpower deployment and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare MIS reports, operational dashboards, KPI reports, and monthly business reviews.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, audits, statutory compliance, and service delivery.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA or a certification in Facility Management is preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM), corporate real estate, or property management.
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations and client relationships.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and vendor partners.

Working Conditions
- Based at client sites or corporate offices with frequent travel between locations.
- May require availability outside regular business hours to manage emergencies, critical incidents, audits, or major maintenance activities.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
