Job Summary
Zetatek Technologies is looking for Electrical Design Engineers to support our ongoing projects and orders. The ideal candidates should have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, industrial automation and servo-based systems.
The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical circuits, developing control systems, preparing electrical drawings and supporting the integration, testing and commissioning of automation and motion-control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control circuits and electrical systems for industrial automation and precision motion systems.
- Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs as per project requirements.
- Design control panels and electrical circuits using Servo Drives, PLCs, HMIs, motors, sensors and other control components.
- Electrical schematics
- Control circuit diagrams
- Panel layouts
- Wiring diagrams
- Cable schedules
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Select suitable electrical and automation components based on system requirements.
- Integrate PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, motors, encoders and sensors.
- Support machine/system automation, testing and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI and servo-related issues during testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Production, Software and Systems Engineering teams for system integration.
- Prepare and maintain electrical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Support testing and validation of electrical and automation systems.
- Participate in customer/project-related technical discussions whenever required.Mandatory Technical Skills
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design and Automation.
- Strong practical knowledge of PLC programming and HMI programming.
- Good understanding of industrial automation concepts.
- Experience in designing electrical circuits using:
- PLC
- HMI
- Servo Drives
- Servo Motors
- Sensors and Encoders
- Relays, contactors and circuit protection devices
- Ability to read and prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in control panel design and electrical system integration.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems.
Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
Candidates with Mechatronics Engineering background and relevant hands-on experience in electrical design and automation may also be considered.

- Good technical documentation and drawing preparation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn and work on defence and aerospace products.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
