We are seeking a fast, alert, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join madhyamam.com. The primary responsibility of this role is to design real-time news posters, breaking news templates, social media cards, and digital banners. The ideal candidate must be able to work under tight deadlines, transforming breaking stories into clean, impactful, and accurate visual layouts.
Responsibilities
· Real-Time News Posters: Create high-impact news posters, quotes, breaking news graphics, and info-cards for website headers and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, WhatsApp).
· Template Management: Develop and maintain standardized, reuseable templates for rapid news deployment, ensuring consistent typography, branding, and color coding across different news categories.
· Multilingual Typesetting: Handle regional language typography flawlessly, ensuring clear readability, proper line breaks, and accurate script rendering.
· Fact-Check & Alignment Verification: Coordinate tightly with editors and journalists to double-check headlines, names, and statistics on visual assets before publication to eliminate errors.
· High-Volume Output: Manage a continuous flow of creative requests throughout the news cycle, maintaining a strict balance between speed and design quality.
Requirements
· Education: Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Diploma / Degree in any discipline (Mass Communication, Media, or Graphic Design background is an asset).
· Experience: Prior experience creating graphics for news portals, digital media agencies, or high-velocity social media handles is highly preferred.
· Software Proficiency:
· Core Editing: Strong command over Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent open-source industry-standard alternatives) .
· Rapid Delivery Tools: High proficiency in Canva or Adobe Express for instant template modifications, batch updates, and mobile-friendly asset generation during breaking news.
· Core Skills & Knowledge:
· Deep understanding of editorial layout, text hierarchy, and choosing high-contrast typography for small screens.
· Familiarity with aspect ratios for digital feeds, stories, and web banners.
· Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and platforms for creating poster designs and marketing creatives.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
