Our firm specializes in GST, TDS, and accounting services, ensuring the highest standards of service for our diverse clientele.
We are looking to expand our team by hiring an experienced Accountant to join us. This role requires an individual who has previous experience working in a CA firm and is proficient in handling GST, TDS, and other accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals for clients.
- Assist with GST return filing, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
- Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns.
- Reconcile financial data for clients, including bank reconciliation and accounting reports.
- Ensure timely filing of various statutory returns related to GST, TDS, and other tax obligations.
- Assist in audit preparation, supporting audit work, and coordinating with the audit team.
- Review and verify financial data for accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Support senior accountants in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in GST, TDS, and other tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve any queries related to accounting, taxation, and financial statements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field (preferably with a focus on Accounting/Finance).
- 2-3 years of experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm with hands-on exposure to GST, TDS, and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GST compliance and TDS regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Professional attitude with the ability to handle confidential financial information.
Preferred:
- Experience with filing and compliance for clients in various industries.
- Additional certifications in tax or accounting will be an advantage.
