Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and result-oriented Compliance/ HR to manage end-to-end recruitment, performance management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and statutory compliance while effectively handling multiple HR functions and contributing to a positive, compliant, and productive workplace.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer rollout, onboarding, and induction.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and close positions within defined timelines.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through job portals, social media, employee referrals, consultants, and other sourcing channels.
- Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and recruitment MIS.
- Handle bulk hiring for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
Performance Management
- Coordinate annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles.
- Monitor probation confirmations and employee performance reviews.
- Track KPIs, KRAs, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Support department heads in employee development and succession planning.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, festivals, celebrations, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Organize employee events, team-building activities, and internal communication initiatives.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Manage attendance, leave records, HRMS/ERP updates, and employee master data.
- Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards, and MIS.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure data accuracy before payroll processing.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including joining, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separations.
Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Handle compliance related to EPF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishments Act, Contract Labour Act, Factory Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, and other applicable labour legislations.
- Coordinate labour inspections, statutory audits, and maintain statutory registers and records.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and auditors for statutory matters.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and recommend necessary policy or process updates.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Support conflict resolution and employee counselling.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, code of conduct, and HR procedures.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs, and continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR legal requirements.
- Experience handling labour inspections, compliance documentation, and statutory audits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in bulk hiring and blue-collar recruitment.
- Strong understanding of Karnataka labour laws and industrial HR practices.
- Knowledge of payroll inputs and statutory deductions.
- Experience handling compliance documentation, government portals, and labour department interactions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees and business stakeholders.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
