Qualification:
- Master's Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Engineering, Geology, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or a relevant discipline is mandatory.
- First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (preferred).
- Additional certifications in Mine Safety, Environmental Management, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of iron mine operations. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in mining, with proven expertise in strategic planning, production management, safety compliance, cost optimization, and team leadership. The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall iron mine operations to achieve production, quality, and business objectives.
- Develop and implement long-term operational strategies and annual business plans.
- Ensure compliance with mining laws, DGMS regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Oversee production, drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing, dispatch, and mine planning activities.
- Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource utilization to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Lead and mentor department heads, engineers, supervisors, and operational teams.
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor safety performance and implement best practices to achieve a zero-incident workplace.
- Prepare and present operational, financial, and performance reports to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through technology adoption and process optimization.

- Minimum 20 years of experience in iron ore mining, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale mining operations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in production planning, mine development, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Willingness to work at mining sites in Odisha.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
