Role Overview
The Cloud & Edge Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of hybrid infrastructure operations covering Azure, GCP, Edge (Azure HCI), and virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware). The role focuses on service delivery governance, customer engagement, and large-scale team leadership ensuring SLA and KPI adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead 24x7 Cloud & Edge Operations (EDOC model)
Ensure platform availability and performance
Own Incident, Problem, Change, and Major Incident Management
Drive proactive issue resolution and RCA
Ensure SLA and KPI compliance
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Manage Azure, GCP environments
Manage Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local
Manage Nutanix and VMware platforms
Oversee monitoring, patching, lifecycle management
Handle capacity planning and performance optimization
Automation & DevOps
Drive automation initiatives
Manage Azure DevOps pipelines
Implement Terraform / IaC
Enable self-healing and automation workflows
Team Management
Lead 25+ team members
Handle staffing, performance, mentoring
Drive skill development programs
Stakeholder & Customer Management
Manage service reviews and reporting
Handle escalations and customer engagement
Coordinate with stakeholders and engineering teams
Vendor Management
Manage OEMs and vendors
Ensure vendor SLA compliance
Coordinate upgrades and issue resolution
Governance & Documentation
Maintain technical and process documentation
Ensure ITIL compliance and audit readiness
Key Responsibilities
1. To ensure generation of tower level EE & EN revenue
2. To ensure that all responsibilities, tasks and escalations/crisis are closed as per agreed SLA norms
3. To oversee Operational Hygiene, validate reports and ensure that services are provided as per agreed SOW
4. To promote positive customer satisfaction and develop new initiatives/ frameworks to improve the same
5. To oversee and implement Profit Improvement Plan (PIP) through levers like Automation & self-driven initiatives     Â
