Key Responsibilities
- Transporting Patients: Drive ambulances to emergency scenes, hospitals, clinics, or between medical facilities, ensuring patient safety and timely arrival.
- Assisting Medical Staff: Help paramedics and EMTs with loading and unloading patients on stretchers, handling medical equipment, and providing basic first aid or oxygen if required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect the ambulance before each shift, check fuel, oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and wiper fluid, and report any needed repairs. Ensure the vehicle is clean, sanitized, and stocked with medical supplies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate driving logs, record patient information, travel times, mileage, and any incidents during transport.
- Emergency Response: Remain calm under pressure, follow traffic regulations, and respond quickly to emergency calls while prioritizing safety.
- Compassion and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with medical personnel and provide empathetic care to patients.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and carrying patients and equipment, and enduring long or irregular shifts.
- Decision-Making Under Pressure: Quick thinking in high-stress situations, including emergencies and accidents.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring vehicle readiness, patient safety, and accurate documentation.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
