Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive to join our team at Tanishq in Dommasandra-Bengaluru.
As a Retail Sales Officer, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery and a proven track record in sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive revenue while delivering a high standard of customer service.
This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, strong product knowledge, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to store performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the store
- Actively promote products to drive sales and achieve assigned targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, and usage.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and contribute to overall store performance and profitability
- Participate in store events and promotions.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in periodic stock checks.
- Ensure product availability and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct customer tele-calling activities to generate leads and follow up on inquiries.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria :-
Education:
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Graduate
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience (Preferably in jewellery industry or luxury retail)
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and POS systems
Languages:
- English - Required
- Hindi - Preferred
- Kannada - Preferred
- Other Local Languages
