Job Summary
The Civil Supervisor (Junior Executive) will be responsible for supervising day-to-day civil construction and maintenance activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating with contractors, monitoring site progress, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction and maintenance activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Verify measurements, material usage, and contractor bills.
- Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues in consultation with senior engineers.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with company safety policies.
- Coordinate procurement of construction materials as required.
- Assist in planning, estimation, and execution of civil works.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects within the approved budget.
Required Skills
- Sound knowledge of civil construction practices and building materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC, structural, masonry, and finishing works.
- Familiarity with industrial construction projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and supervise site activities effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing plants, industrial infrastructure, chemical plants, or large-scale construction projects will be an added advantage.
