Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with deep expertise in the U.S. staffing industry. The ideal candidate must possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong client network, and a proven track record of driving sales
growth. This role involves developing direct client and implementation partner relationships, managing the entire sales lifecycle, and building a high-performance team to meet aggressive growth targets in the U.S. staffing market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with direct clients and implementation partners in the U.S. staffing market.
· Onboard new clients and partners using existing relationships and networks.
· Develop strategic corporate alliances to expand business reach and enhance the client portfolio.
· Build and lead a capable team to support client hiring needs and deliver timely staffing solutions.
· Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client engagement, proposal presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
· Take complete ownership of client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
· Collaborate with the recruitment team to align delivery efforts with client requirements.
· Maintain a strong sales pipeline by consistently identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
· Be well-versed with the complete lifecycle of U.S. staffing and recruitment processes.
· Deliver individual and team-based placement performance aligned with monthly targets.
Performance Expectations:
· Client Onboarding:
Must have active client accounts or implementation partners and should be able to
onboard at least 2 new clients or partners every month.
· Placements:
As an individual performer, must ensur at least 2 successful placements per month
using existing client connections and references.
Additionally, must drive a minimum of 3 placements per month through team members reporting to him.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum 15 years of proven experience in business development within the U.S. staffing industry.
· Strong existing network of active clients or implementation partners.
· In-depth knowledge of U.S. staffing models, recruitment lifecycle, VMS/MSP systems, and compliance standards.
· Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed targets in client acquisition and placements.
· Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales and delivery teams.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
· Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Active book of business with established client relationships.
· Experience in IT or niche staffing verticals.
· Willingness to work in U.S. time zones ( 7 pm – 4 Am )
