The Site Administrator is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the site level, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices. This role acts as the primary HR point of contact for site leadership and employees, driving employee engagement, operational excellence, and effective people management.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the site, including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, leave management, and employee records
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR documentation, personnel files, and HRIS data
- Oversee payroll inputs, statutory deductions, and coordination with payroll teams
- Handle employee lifecycle processes from hiring to separation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies
- Manage audits, inspections, and statutory filings (PF, ESI, gratuity, labor welfare, etc.)
- Liaise with government authorities, labor offices, and external consultants when required
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and disciplinary matters
- Support resolution of conflicts and conduct domestic inquiries where applicable
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and site-level HR events
- Foster a positive work culture aligned with organizational values
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback cycles
- Assist managers with manpower planning, workforce analytics, and succession inputs
- Coordinate training programs, skill development initiatives, and compliance trainings
- Partner closely with site leadership, functional heads, and corporate HR teams
- Provide HR guidance and advisory support to managers on people matters
- Prepare HR MIS reports and dashboards for management review
- Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the site
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Support change management initiatives and organizational transitions
- MBA / MSW / Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 10–20 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to site HR administration
- Proven experience handling statutory compliance and employee relations
- Experience in manufacturing / plant / large office / multi-shift environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in HRMS, payroll systems, and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and manage senior stakeholders
- Experience working with unionized environments (if applicable)
- Exposure to audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Leadership presence with a hands-on operational mindset
