Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to oversee and manage all HR functions at our manufacturing plant located in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Factory HR operations, Payroll Management, Statutory Compliance, Industrial Relations, and Contract Labour Management. Practical experience in PF, ESI, Payroll Processing, and Labour Law Compliance is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for plant manpower requirements.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate hiring processes, and complete employee onboarding formalities.
- Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR documentation.
- Facilitate induction and orientation programs for new employees.
Payroll & Salary Administration
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and within prescribed timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, shift allowances, and wage calculations.
- Coordinate salary disbursement and payroll-related activities.
- Handle Full & Final Settlements (F&F) of employees.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.

- Employee State Insurance (ESI)

- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Minimum Wages Act

- Maintain statutory registers and records.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance reports.
Industrial Relations (IR)
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain cordial employee relations within the plant.
- Draft warning letters, show-cause notices, and disciplinary communications.
- Support management in handling labour-related matters and dispute resolution.
Contract Labour Management
- Monitor contractor manpower deployment and attendance.
- Verify contractor bills and statutory compliance documents.
- Ensure compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.
- Coordinate with labour contractors and agencies.
Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance and shift schedules.
- Maintain leave records and attendance reports.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower planning and deployment.
HR Operations & MIS
- Prepare monthly HR reports and management MIS.
- Maintain employee databases and HR records.
- Ensure HR policy implementation and compliance.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Educational Qualification
- MBA (HR) / MSW / PGDM (HR) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of Factory HR experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Payroll, PF, ESI, and Labour Law Compliance.
- Experience in Industrial Relations and Contract Labour Management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, HRMS, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with government authorities and statutory departments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial, or Production Plants.
- Exposure to Factory Act compliance and labour inspections.
- Ability to independently manage Plant HR operations.
