This job requires the candidate to workWe are looking for a young, energetic and highly creative Social Media Manager to work full-time with one of India's leading DJs and music artists.
This is a hands-on creator role. You won't just be planning posts or writing captions — you'll be responsible for running the artist's social media presence end-to-end, from coming up with ideas and shooting content to editing, posting, engaging with the audience and staying on top of what's trending.
You should naturally understand Instagram, Reels, Gen-Z culture, internet trends, music culture and what makes people stop scrolling.
If you're someone who is constantly thinking "this would make a great Reel" — this could be the job for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the artist's social media pages on a day-to-day, full-time basis
- Create and publish at least one piece of content every day
- Ideate, shoot, edit and publish Instagram Reels and other social content
- Be comfortable getting behind the camera and capturing spontaneous, authentic moments
- Shoot primarily using an iPhone, with additional equipment when required
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram, including music-driven and trend-based content
- Create graphics, stories and other social assets using Canva and similar tools
- Keep up with the latest Instagram, TikTok and Gen-Z trends and identify opportunities to adapt them to the artist
- Develop recurring content formats and series around the artist's personality, music, lifestyle, performances and behind-the-scenes life
- Capture content during gigs, rehearsals, studio sessions, travel, events and shoots
- Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent daily posting
- Write captions, select music, hashtags and formats appropriate for each post
- Monitor comments, DMs, engagement and audience sentiment
- Actively engage with other creators, influencers, DJs, musicians and relevant accounts
- Build relationships with creators and identify opportunities for collaborations
- Track content performance and understand what is working and what isn't
- Constantly experiment with new formats, ideas and approaches to grow the artist's online presence
What We're Looking For
- Young, energetic and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for social media and content creation
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Reels
- Someone who spends time on social media and naturally understands what is trending
- Good eye for framing, composition, lighting and storytelling
- Very comfortable using a phone camera, particularly an iPhone
- Strong video editing skills
- Proficiency in Canva
- Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar is a plus
- Ability to turn everyday moments into engaging content
- Good sense of humour and an understanding of Gen-Z internet culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working around artists, creators, event teams and other industry professionals
- Highly organised and able to work independently
- Willing to be flexible around gigs, events, travel and the artist's schedule
- Passion for music, nightlife, entertainment and pop culture is a major plus

We're looking for someone who is hungry to create.
You should be the kind of person who sees a funny moment and immediately thinks about how to turn it into a Reel. Someone who knows the latest trends before everyone else does. Someone who is comfortable saying "let's shoot this" and figuring out the rest.
This role is not for someone who only wants to schedule posts or manage a content calendar.
You'll be expected to be on the ground, shoot content, edit it, post it and actively help build the artist's digital personality.
