We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer with strong experience in the cosmetics and beauty industry to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, typography, color, and current beauty-market trends
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and innovative packaging designs for cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance, personal care, and beauty products.
- Create packaging concepts that align with brand identity, target audience, product positioning, and current market trends.
- Design packaging elements including boxes, cartons, labels, bottles, jars, tubes, pouches, sleeves, stickers, and other promotional/packaging materials.
- Work extensively with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW to create and refine packaging artwork.
- Prepare accurate print-ready production files according to printer and manufacturing specifications.
- Understand dielines, bleeds, margins, cut lines, folds, creases, spot colors, CMYK, Pantone, and other print-production requirements.
- Ensure artwork is technically accurate and suitable for different printing processes and finishing techniques.
- Maintain consistency across packaging ranges and product collections.
- Research current cosmetic and beauty packaging trends, competitor products, typography, colors, materials, finishes, and consumer preferences.
- Develop packaging designs that have strong shelf appeal while maintaining a premium and consistent brand image.
- Maintain organized source files, artwork versions, linked assets, fonts, and production documentation.
- Ensure all packaging artwork follows applicable brand guidelines, labeling requirements, and approved product information.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Packaging Designer, preferably within the cosmetics, skincare, beauty, FMCG, personal care, or lifestyle industry.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
- Strong understanding of color theory, color combinations, visual hierarchy, typography, composition, and branding
- Strong understanding of dielines and print-ready artwork preparation
- attention to detail, particularly with typography, alignment, dimensions, colors, product information, and regulatory text
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Portfolio demonstrating packaging design work, preferably including cosmetic or beauty products
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
