We are seeking an enthusiastic, articulate, and empathetic Soft Skills Trainer to join our training and placement cell. In this role, you will bridge the gap between academic knowledge and corporate readiness. Your primary mission will be to groom students across various streams, equipping them with the communication, behavioral, and interview skills required to launch successful careers during campus placements.
Key Responsibilities1. Training Delivery & Campus-to-Corporate Grooming
- Deliver high-energy, interactive classroom training sessions on soft skills, personality development, and business etiquette.
- Conduct specialized Placement Prep workshops, including resume writing, group discussion (GD) strategies, and mock interviews.
- Help students overcome stage fear and build public speaking confidence through interactive exercises, debates, and role-plays.
2. Curriculum Customization
- Design and update a progressive soft skills curriculum tailored for different academic years (e.g., foundational communication for 1st years, advanced interview prep for final years).
- Incorporate modern corporate trends, vocabulary, and employer expectations into daily training modules.
- Create engaging learning materials, presentation decks, and activity worksheets.
3. Student Assessment & Mentoring
- Evaluate students' communication baselines and track their improvement over semesters.
- Provide constructive, one-on-one feedback to students, particularly identifying and mentoring introverted or underconfident individuals.
- Maintain records of training attendance, assessment scores, and placement readiness metrics.
Key Focus Areas for Students
- Interview Mechanics: Resume/CV building, cracking technical/HR interviews, body language, and dressing etiquette.
- Group Discussion (GD) Tactics: How to initiate, articulate ideas, disagree politely, and conclude effectively.
- Communication Fundamentals: Active listening, corporate email writing, presentation skills, and public speaking.
- Behavioral Skills: Teamwork, time management for academics, emotional intelligence, attitude, and handling rejection.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, MBA (HR), Psychology, Communications, or a related field. (Certified trainers from institutions like Dale Carnegie, British Council, or similar professional bodies will be highly preferred).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience training college students (Engineering, Arts & Science, or Management) for campus placements. Exceptional corporate trainers looking to transition to academia are also welcome.
- Core Competencies:
- Highly relatable personality with the ability to connect with, engage, and inspire Gen Z students.
- Flawless verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong command over classroom management techniques for both small batches and large auditorium sessions.
- Familiarity with the hiring processes of major IT, core engineering, and product companies.
Pay: From ₹2,000.00 per day
