We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (Tamil-speaking) with a minimum of 1 year of experience to drive student enrolments and business growth. The role involves interacting with prospective learners, understanding their needs, and converting leads into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students in Tamil.
- Counsel students on courses, career paths, and program benefits.
- Convert leads into enrolments/admissions.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and update lead data in CRM.
- Achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets.
- Collect pending payments from students.
- Provide feedback on market trends and student requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Student Counselling.
- Fluency in Tamil with good communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience in EdTech, Training Institutes, or Education Sales.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management.
- Knowledge of digital marketing leads and funnels.
- Candidates from Kerala are also welcome, provided they can communicate fluently in Tamil.
