Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and skilled Interior Designer with practical knowledge of interior design projects and project execution. The ideal candidate should be able to understand client requirements and develop practical, creative, and visually appealing interior solutions.
The role involves creating 2D layouts and 3D visualizations and working on various aspects of interior projects, including furniture, modular kitchens, lighting, space planning, materials, finishes, décor, and more.
The candidate should also be comfortable coordinating with project and site teams and travelling to project sites whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and develop suitable interior design concepts.
- Create detailed 2D layouts, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings.
- Develop attractive and realistic 3D designs and visualizations.
- Handle interior design projects from concept through execution.
- Design and plan furniture, modular kitchens, lighting, space planning, materials, finishes, colours, and décor.
- Work on residential and commercial interior projects.
- Coordinate with project and site teams during execution.
- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, and design coordination.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure designs are practical and aligned with client requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback and site requirements.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, furniture, lighting, and décor concepts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Practical knowledge of interior projects and project execution.
- Ability to independently create 2D and 3D designs.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of furniture, modular kitchens, lighting, space planning, materials, and finishes.
- Good creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to convert client requirements into practical designs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites whenever required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with interior design training from reputed institutes such as ZICA, INIFD, or other recognized institutes in Indore will be preferred.
- Practical experience working on real interior design projects.
- Portfolio showcasing 2D layouts, 3D designs, furniture, kitchens, lighting, residential, or commercial projects will be an advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge of both designing and project execution will be preferred.
