Job Title: Radiographer
Job Summary:
A Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other imaging procedures to assist doctors in diagnosing and treating patients. They ensure patient safety, maintain imaging equipment, and produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound as applicable)
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure patient safety and follow radiation protection protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment properly
- Review and ensure the quality of images before submission to doctors
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Assist radiologists and doctors during special imaging procedures
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the radiology department
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology
- Valid certification or registration (as per local regulations)
- Skills Required:
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Basic computer knowledge for handling imaging software
Experience:
Fresher or 1–3 years of experience in a hospital/diagnostic center
Work Conditions:
Work in hospitals, diagnostic centers, or clinics
May involve shift duties, including nights and weekends
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹43,907.82 per month
