About the Role
Sriram Palace Banquet & Hotel is looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The selected chef will join along with one Kitchen Assistant/Assistant Cook and will be responsible for delivering high-quality food for our hotel guests, banquet functions, weddings, corporate events, and outdoor catering.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, Biryani, Breakfast, and Multi-Cuisine preparation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food quality, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise daily food production for the hotel and banquet.
- Plan menus for weddings, receptions, corporate events, and special occasions.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality.
- Manage kitchen operations along with the assistant.
- Maintain food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor food inventory and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with management for banquet menus and event planning.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during events.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel, banquet, restaurant, or catering service.
- Must be able to independently manage banquet and bulk food production.
- Experience handling wedding and corporate event catering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Should join with one experienced Kitchen Assistant/Assistant Cook.
