Job Description – In-House Photographer
Role Overview
AASTPL is looking for a creative and skilled In-House Photographer to capture high-quality product, catalogue, campaign, and lifestyle images that reflect the brand’s identity. The role is responsible for creating compelling visual content for e-commerce, social media, marketing campaigns, and retail channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Catalogue Photography
- Capture high-quality product images on models, flat-lay setups, and ghost mannequin formats for e-commerce platforms, catalogues, and marketing materials.
- Ensure consistency in styling, lighting, framing, and image quality across all product categories and collections.
- Plan and manage photography schedules in coordination with stylists, models, merchandisers, and creative teams.
Campaign & Lifestyle Photography
- Conceptualize and execute seasonal campaign shoots that align with brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Capture lifestyle, editorial, lookbook, and promotional imagery for digital, print, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into compelling visual stories.
Post-Production & Retouching
- Edit and retouch images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Deliver final images in the required formats, resolutions, and colour profiles.
- Maintain a well-organized digital archive of photography assets and project files.
Studio & Equipment Management
- Set up, operate, and maintain studio lighting, photography equipment, backdrops, and props.
- Ensure all cameras, lenses, and accessories are in excellent working condition.
- Monitor studio inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance or replacement when required.
Social Media & Digital Content
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, reels, short videos, and creative assets for social media platforms.
- Stay updated on photography trends, content formats, and industry best practices.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the brand’s visual identity and online presence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of professional photography experience, preferably in fashion, apparel, retail, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product, catalogue, editorial, and campaign photography.
- Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques, studio equipment, and DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of composition, colour theory, styling, and visual aesthetics.
- Video shooting and basic video editing skills are an added advantage.
- Degree or Diploma in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.

- Maintain studio equipment, photography assets, and digital archives efficiently.
- Support social media and marketing initiatives through creative and engaging visual content.

Working Conditions
- Full-time role based at the Hyderabad – Abids office/studio.
- Occasional travel may be required for outdoor shoots, campaigns, events, and store visits.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during campaign launches, seasonal collections, and special projects.
Reporting Structure
Reports To: Creative Head / Marketing Manager
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
