Job Title: Computer Hardware & Networking Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Computer Hardware & Networking Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware components, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, LAN/WAN networking, and IT support, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, SSDs, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Set up, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and network cabling.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Install and configure antivirus software, system updates, and security patches.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Configure email accounts, printers, shared folders, and network resources.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory records.
- Provide technical support to end users through remote and on-site assistance.
- Perform data backup, recovery, and system restoration when required.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Document technical issues, maintenance activities, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certification in Computer Hardware, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in computer hardware and networking support (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPN, and network security fundamentals.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco CCNA
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- May require occasional travel to client sites.
- Ability to lift and install computer equipment when necessary.
- Availability to provide emergency IT support when required.
Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kolkata, West Bengal
