We are hiring for Ocean Export import Pricing (Asst Manager) freight forwarding

Key Responsibilities
Obtain competitive ocean freight rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, and co-loaders for both import and export shipments.
Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations for FCL, LCL, and special cargo shipments.
Negotiate freight rates, surcharges, and service terms with carriers and vendors.
Coordinate with overseas agents for import pricing, destination charges, and routing options.
Work closely with the sales team by providing competitive pricing and commercial support for customer inquiries and tenders.
Analyze market trends, carrier rate changes, and competitor pricing to maintain competitive quotations.
Maintain and update freight tariffs, carrier contracts, and pricing databases.
Ensure all quotations comply with company pricing policies and profitability targets.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments based on quoted terms.
Handle RFQs (Request for Quotations) received from customers, overseas agents, and global networks within the stipulated turnaround time.
Monitor carrier schedules, transit times, vessel space availability, and service reliability.
Support key account pricing, contract renewals, and annual rate negotiations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas partners, and vendors.
Prepare periodic pricing reports, margin analysis, and management MIS reports.
Stay updated on industry regulations, trade lanes, carrier announcements, and freight market developments.
