Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct regular sports and physical fitness activities for students.
- Maintain discipline and proper conduct among students during sports activities and on the college campus.
- Organize college-level sports competitions, tournaments, and annual sports events.
- Coordinate participation in inter-college, university, district, state, and other external sports competitions.
- Identify and encourage talented students to participate in various sports.
- Prepare and maintain sports teams, player lists, practice schedules, and competition records.
- Conduct regular practice and training sessions for different sports.
- Manage and maintain sports equipment, grounds, courts, and other sports facilities.
- Maintain proper records of sports equipment, issue/return registers, student participation, achievements, and expenses.
- Ensure sports equipment and facilities are used safely and responsibly.
- Coordinate with the Principal, HODs, faculty, and administration for sports-related activities.
- Organize Annual Sports Day, fitness activities, yoga sessions, indoor/outdoor games, and recreational activities.
- Encourage students to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Supervise students during sports practices, competitions, events, and outdoor activities.
- Ensure students follow appropriate sports rules, safety guidelines, discipline, and dress code during activities.
- Assist in maintaining overall student discipline during college events and activities whenever required.
- Coordinate with external coaches, sports authorities, clubs, and institutions when necessary.
- Prepare reports of sports activities, competitions, student achievements, and participation.
- Promote team spirit, leadership, punctuality, sportsmanship, and positive behavior among students.
- Take immediate and appropriate action in case of minor sports-related incidents and report serious issues to the concerned authority.
- Perform other student-related and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal/Management.
Required Qualification
- Graduate in Physical Education / Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- M.P.Ed. will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant sports coaching certifications or experience will be preferred.

Preferred Experience
- Experience as a Sports Teacher, Physical Education Instructor, Sports Coordinator, or Coach in a school, college, or educational institution will be preferred.
- Experience in organizing college-level and inter-college sports competitions will be an advantage.
