We are looking for a technically strong Sales Engineer who can understand customer business processes, identify challenges, demonstrate solutions, and work closely with technical teams to convert opportunities into successful implementations.
Role Summary
The Sales Engineer bridges the gap between business and technology. This role combines consultative selling with technical expertise to understand customer requirements, prepare solution demonstrations, conduct product presentations, create proposals, and support enterprise sales.
This is not a traditional field sales position. It requires analytical thinking, business consulting capability, ERP understanding, and strong communication skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Generate qualified B2B leads.
- Identify opportunities across manufacturing, construction, EPC, steel, mining, logistics, distribution, and trading sectors.
- Conduct customer discovery meetings.
- Understand existing workflows and business pain points.
- Recommend suitable AI and ERP solutions.
- Build long-term client relationships.
- Manage complete sales pipeline through CRM.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Technical Consulting
- Conduct business process discussions.
- Understand ERP implementation requirements.
- Prepare functional requirement summaries.
- Deliver product demonstrations.
- Explain AI automation use cases.
- Present ROI and business benefits.
- Assist in solution architecture discussions.
- Coordinate with implementation consultants.
Proposal & Documentation
- Prepare technical proposals.
- Prepare commercial quotations.
- Develop presentations.
- Estimate implementation scope.
- Prepare requirement documents.
- Coordinate contract documentation.
- Support RFP/RFQ responses.
Customer Engagement
- Conduct on-site meetings.
- Participate in exhibitions and networking events.
- Handle customer objections professionally.
- Follow up until closure.
- Coordinate handover to implementation teams.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Computer Science, IT) or equivalent.
- MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage.
- ERP implementation or ERP sales exposure preferred.
Experience
- Minimum: 2 years
- Preferred: 3–6 years in ERP, Industrial Automation, SaaS, Software, Engineering Solutions, or Technical Sales.
Fresh candidates with exceptional communication and technical aptitude may also be considered.

Employment Conditions
