Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: ₹35,000 per month
Start Date: 15th July 2026

About the Role
AssistHealth is looking for an experienced Faculty Member / Lead Trainer to design and deliver our flagship Certificate in Healthcare Navigation & Care Coordination Practice (CHNCP) — a 12-week, practice-led certification programme that trains professionals to become Healthcare Navigators: the point of contact who helps patients and families move confidently through India's healthcare system.
This is a hands-on teaching role covering the full learner journey — from foundational healthcare-system knowledge through communication skills, clinical coordination, ethics and documentation, hospital operations, insurance literacy, escalation management, elder care, mental health navigation, and professional leadership — culminating in a supervised internship and competency certification.
You'll work with structured curriculum, session plans, and assessment rubrics already in place, and bring them to life in the classroom through role-play, simulation, and case-based teaching.
What You'll Do
- Deliver classroom sessions across the CHNCP curriculum — a mix of foundational knowledge, applied skills practice, and professional-identity development
- Facilitate role-plays, live simulations, and case studies (e.g., patient communication scenarios, hospital coordination exercises, escalation drills, elder-care navigation planning)
- Assess learner assignments and portfolios against defined rubrics, and provide actionable feedback
- Guide learners through a 6-week supervised internship across hospital, home care, senior care, and desk-based settings
- Support capstone assessment activities, including live simulated navigation cycles and viva examinations
- Maintain teaching quality and consistency across cohorts, and flag content or sequencing issues to the curriculum team
- Mentor learners on professional identity, ethics, and scope-of-practice boundaries throughout the programme
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (Nursing, Allied Health, Hospital Administration, Public Health, or similar); postgraduate qualification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare delivery, hospital operations, patient care coordination, or health insurance/TPA operations
- Prior experience in training, facilitation, or teaching adult learners (corporate training, nursing education, or vocational training settings)
- Strong working knowledge of the Indian healthcare ecosystem — public/private providers, government health schemes (PM-JAY, CGHS, ESI), insurance and cashless/reimbursement processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi/Kannada a plus)
- Comfort with role-play-based and simulation-based teaching methods
Preferred:
- Experience with clinical documentation standards (e.g., SOAP notes) and healthcare compliance/privacy practices
- Background in patient experience, hospital case management, or elder/geriatric care
- Familiarity with digital health tools, telemedicine platforms, or EMR systems
- Experience mentoring interns or supervising practicum/clinical placements
- Exposure to instructional design or curriculum development
Programme Snapshot (for context)
- 20 modules delivered over 12 weeks, plus a 6-week supervised internship
- ~236 classroom hours (teaching + hands-on practice) and 120 internship hours
- Practice-led design with heavy emphasis on role-play, simulation, and case-based assessment
- Culminates in a multi-component capstone: portfolio review, live simulation, and panel viva
