Senior Site Engineer – Road Construction

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage road construction projects in Aurangabad, Bihar. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in road and highway construction, site execution, quality control, project coordination, and contractor management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day road construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor construction progress and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality requirements.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and contractor bills.
- Manage manpower, machinery, and material utilization effectively.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road/highway construction projects.
- Strong understanding of road construction methodologies, earthwork, pavement works, drainage works, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on government road projects, highway projects, or infrastructure developments.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, billing, and project planning.
- Familiarity with safety standards and construction quality practices.
