Job Summary
UNXGO Travel Services is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Desk Executive / Assistant Manager to manage travel bookings, customer support, online travel portal operations, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate should have experience in the travel industry, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of flight, hotel, holiday, and transport booking operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Customer Travel Assistance & Booking Management
- Handle domestic and international travel bookings including flights, hotels, holiday packages, visa assistance, and transportation services.
- Assist customers with travel planning and itinerary preparation.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, transport providers, and travel vendors for confirmations, rates, and availability.
- Process booking modifications, cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and travel-related requests.
- Ensure timely communication and resolution of customer queries.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the travel journey.
2. Online Travel Portal (OTA) Operations
- Manage daily operations of the online travel portal.
- Upload and update travel packages, hotel inventory, promotional offers, pricing, and availability.
- Monitor booking flow, payment status, vendor confirmations, and customer records.
- Coordinate with technical and support teams for portal updates and issue resolution.
- Ensure accurate content, pricing, and inventory management on the portal.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly booking reports.
3. Client Relationship Management & Sales Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, travel agents, and corporate clients.
- Handle inbound travel inquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, website, and social media channels.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through effective sales and customer engagement.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for travel products and services.
4. Vendor & Hotel Partner Coordination
- Develop and maintain relationships with hotel partners, airlines, transport providers, and destination management companies.
- Negotiate competitive rates, special offers, and contract terms.
- Ensure smooth coordination between customers and vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
- Resolve operational issues related to bookings and supplier services.
5. Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate booking records and customer databases.
- Prepare sales, booking, and operational reports.
- Support management with business development and operational planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and travel industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Travel Agency, OTA, Tour Operations, or Hospitality Industry.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international travel operations.
- Experience in flight, hotel, holiday package, and transport booking management.
Additional Skills Preferred
- Knowledge of GDS Systems: Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Experience handling OTA platforms and online travel portals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM software and booking management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Sales-oriented mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
