Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Associate Manager – HR to lead HR operations, payroll management, and statutory compliance. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless HR processes, accurate and timely payroll, and adherence to all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations

Oversee end-to-end HR operations including employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit).

Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee data in HRMS.

Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in HR operations.

Manage HR documentation, records, and audits (internal & external).
-
Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.

Support HR audits, ISO/compliance audits, and process governance.
Payroll Management

Manage end-to-end payroll processing with high accuracy and adherence to timelines.

Validate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, reimbursements, and full & final settlements.

Ensure compliance with payroll-related statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).

Coordinate with finance and vendors for payroll processing and reconciliation.

Generate payroll reports, MIS, and dashboards for management review.

Handle payroll audits and ensure proper documentation.
Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, etc.).

Oversee timely filing of statutory returns and payments.

Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and consultants as required.

Maintain statutory records, registers, and documentation.

Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure timely implementation.

Support inspections, notices, and compliance-related queries.
Team & Stakeholder Management

Manage and guide the HR operations/payroll team (if applicable).

Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Drive employee communication related to payroll and compliance matters.
Qualifications

MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.

8–10 years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.)

Good understanding of Indian labor laws and regulations
