We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to lead the development of a sophisticated, large-scale dropshipping web application.
This isn't a standard CRUD app; you will be building a complex ecosystem that handles real-time inventory synchronization, automated order fulfillment, and multi-channel API integrations. We need a developer who can architect for scale, prioritize security, and deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement a scalable database schema and microservices architecture to handle high-frequency data updates.
- API Integration: Build robust integrations with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce), supplier APIs (AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping), and global payment gateways.
- Automation Engines: Develop automated workflows for price monitoring, order routing, and tracking updates.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the platform maintains low latency and high availability during peak traffic.
- Security: Implement advanced security protocols to protect sensitive merchant and customer data.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience (mid-to-senior level).
- Tech Stack Proficiency:
- Backend: Mastery of Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Go.
- Frontend: Expertise in React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Database: Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL solutions (Redis, MongoDB).
- E-commerce DNA: Proven track record of building or maintaining e-commerce applications, marketplaces, or logistics software.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including CI/CD pipeline management.
- Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of webhooks, asynchronous task queues (Celery/RabbitMQ), and rate-limiting logic.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience specifically within the dropshipping or supply chain automation niche.
- Familiarity with headless commerce architecture.
- Experience building Chrome extensions for data scraping or browser automation.
