Junior Civil Engineer
Job Summary
The Junior Civil Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of construction projects. The role involves site supervision, quality control, quantity estimation, contractor coordination, and ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing civil construction projects.
- Supervise daily site activities and monitor work progress.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material requirements.
- Verify measurements and assist in billing and estimation.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Monitor material consumption and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in resolving technical issues arising during project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation, including site records, inspection reports, and work logs.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, cost control, and project completion activities.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Civil Engineering.
- Min 2 years of experience in civil construction or site execution.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
- Basic understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, if required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with project management practices.
- Knowledge of IS codes and construction quality standards.
- Basic understanding of surveying instruments and techniques.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
