Job Summary:
SURIYAA KNITWEAR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Executive with a strong understanding of compliance, auditing, employee management, and payroll within the textile and garment manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of relevant experience and will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards, fostering a positive work environment, and managing employee-related processes efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Audits:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws, industry regulations, and ethical standards specific to textile and garment manufacturing.
- Support internal and external audits related to labor compliance, social compliance, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance requirements (e.g., factory licenses, certifications, audit reports).
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on compliance-related topics for employees and management.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the textile and garment industry.
- Assist in addressing any compliance-related issues or grievances.
- Employee Management:
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Maintain employee records accurately and confidentially, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Assist in managing employee relations, addressing employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback sessions, and performance appraisals.
- Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Support disciplinary actions and grievance handling in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Payroll:
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, including data entry, calculations, and verification.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax) and other payroll-related regulations.
- Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare relevant reports.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts departments for payroll-related matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience specifically within the textile and garment manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing compliance and audits related to labor laws, social compliance, and quality standards in the textile/garment sector.
- Solid understanding of employee management principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing and knowledge of relevant statutory regulations in India.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations in India applicable to the manufacturing sector (e.g., Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
