- Curriculum Delivery: Instruct students on interpreting both classical and contemporary literature. Teach structural and content elements of the English language, including grammar and composition. [1]
- Exam Preparation: Thoroughly prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE board examinations by focusing on essay writing and specific exam techniques. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Assessment & Tracking: Create and grade formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to improve student performance. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Classroom Management: Foster an engaging, discussion-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking and independent expression. [1]
- Student Support: Identify students with special learning needs and provide tailored support or individualized learning plans. [1, 2, 3]
- Communication: Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences and maintain clear records of student progress and attendance. [1]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field.
- Certifications: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or QTS).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE/AS/A Levels).
- Skills: Strong classroom management, exceptional verbal and written communication, and the ability to differentiate instruction for varying proficiency levels
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
