Project Engineer - Roles & Responsibilities
A Project Engineer represents the client and ensures the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and as per approved quality standards.
Monitor daily site construction activities.
Coordinate between client, consultant, contractor, and vendors.
Review drawings, technical documents, and work progress.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and specifications.
Track project schedule and report delays or risks.
Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed at site.
Verify contractor measurements, billing, and progress claims.
Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
Identify issues and support timely resolution.
Monitor material availability and resource utilization.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Maintain project records, reports, and documentation.
