Job Title: Senior Accountant (for a UK KPO)
Location: Chandigarh
Position: Full-time
Purpose of Role
Ensure timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
Ensure seamless interaction between stakeholders for accurate financial information.
Deliver accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
Deliver reports/analysis as required.
Key Responsibilities
To assist in the meeting of the goals of the company by providing accurate, reliable finance
information for effective decision making and strategic planning. Key tasks include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly cashflow statements
Fixed assets management
Sales and margin reporting including variance analysis
Management of purchase, sales and nominal ledger
Record and Review of sales and purchase invoices
Assist in credit control
Foreign currency revaluation
Stock valuation and reporting
Invoice finance reconciliations
Assist in budget and forecast preparation
Quarterly/ half yearly VAT returns

Accountant with 5+ years’ experience ina UK KPO
Strong communication skills
Xero and Sage experience preferred
Advanced Excel knowledge (complex formulae) and Data Analytics is mandatory
Highly numerate and confident
Salary
Subject to experience
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
