Job Summary
We are looking for an aggressive and results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our footprint in the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) sector. This is a highly active field-sales role. You will not be sitting behind a desk; your primary mission is to hit the road, visit under-construction buildings, meet with key stakeholders on-site, and secure new project orders for our automation and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressive Field Scouting: Travel extensively from site to site to identify new business opportunities at under-construction commercial buildings, hospitals, and institutions.
- On-Site Lead Generation: Locate and pitch our services directly to key decision-makers on-site, including builders, contractors, architects, MEP consultants, and project managers.
- Technical Pitching: Effectively present and sell our core ELV solutions, specifically:
- Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- CCTV & Surveillance Systems
- Nurse Call Systems (Healthcare sector)
- Access Control & Boom Barriers
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, ongoing relationships with construction stakeholders to ensure Omnitech is the preferred vendor for current and future projects.
- Order Conversion: Negotiate terms, assist in preparing project quotations alongside the technical team, and aggressively close deals to meet company sales targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven B2B field sales experience, specifically in ELV systems, building automation, or low-current building technologies.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CCTV, Fire Alarms, and Nurse Call systems, and how they integrate into modern large-scale construction.
- Work Style: Field-ready and comfortable spending most of the workday on the road visiting active construction zones.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; ability to explain technical systems to non-technical buyers.
