*Project & Role Overview*
We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to be a technical driver responsible for deploying, integrating, and automating Wiz CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) capabilities across multi-cloud, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between cloud security engineering and automation, establishing comprehensive infrastructure visibility, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines ("shifting left"), and writing robust Python automation to streamline onboarding, validation, and reporting.

### *Key Responsibilities*
#### *1. Wiz Architecture, Deployment & Migration*
* *Platform Migration:* Act as the technical subject matter expert to seamlessly transition security operations and posture management from Prisma Cloud to Wiz.io.
* *Multi-Cloud Onboarding:* Configure, scale, and onboard enterprise workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP into the Wiz platform.
* *Coverage Validation:* Audit and validate onboarding completeness to ensure 100% asset visibility, continuous vulnerability scanning, and proactive tracking of IAM risks/misconfigurations.
#### *2. Kubernetes & Container Security Enablement*
* *Cluster Integration:* Onboard Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and runtime workloads into Wiz to enable deep runtime security visibility.
* *Registry Scanning:* Set up, configure, and troubleshoot secure connectivity for container registries (e.g., GAR, ACR, JFrog Artifactory).
* *Triage & Quality Control:* Validate the accuracy, consistency, and coverage of container image security findings across all active environments.
#### *3. CI/CD Pipeline Integration (Shift-Left Security)*
* *Pipeline Automation:* Embed the Wiz CLI directly into enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
* *Policy Enforcement:* Implement automated vulnerability scanning and policy gates to block insecure container builds or risky deployments before they hit production.
* *Output Validation:* Ensure pipeline scan execution is seamless and that findings are correctly routed to engineering teams.
#### *4. Python Automation, Tooling & Analytics*
* *API Integration:* Develop custom Python scripts leveraging the Wiz REST API to extract, process, and analyze scan data, asset inventories, and security findings.
* *Custom Tooling:* Build reusable automation utilities to monitor onboarding drift, track multi-cloud security coverage, and validate scanning efficacy.
* *Reporting & Dashboards:* Automate data extraction to feed executive dashboards, compliance reports, and cross-functional risk metrics.

### *Technical Profile & Experience Required*
* *Overall Experience:* Minimum of 8 years dedicated to *Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Platform Engineering*.
* *CNAPP Expertise:* Proven, hands-on experience deploying and configuring enterprise CNAPP tools, with a strong preference for *Wiz* (Prisma Cloud experience is a major asset).
* *Advanced Automation:* Strong Python scripting proficiency, specifically focused on REST API integration, JSON data processing, and security workflow automation.
* *Cloud & Container Mastery:* Deep conceptual and practical understanding of public cloud security (IAM, network controls), Docker, and Kubernetes architecture (pods, namespaces, RBAC).
* *DevSecOps Fluency:* Solid familiarity with pipeline-based deployments, version control, and embedding security guardrails into automated developer workflows.
