Psychiatric Social Worker (MSW)Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Social Worker (MSW) to provide comprehensive psychosocial support to patients and their families. The role involves individual and family counselling, group therapy, patient assessments, skill-development training, clinical documentation, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient history taking and Mental Status Examinations (MSE).
- Provide individual, family, and group counselling sessions.
- Ensure appropriate patient care and psychosocial support.
- Conduct relevant psychological and social assessments.
- Organize and facilitate training programs focused on skill development.
- Coordinate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate relevant updates to senior authorities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, reports, and other documentation.
- Support patients and families in understanding and managing mental-health-related concerns.

Qualification
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), preferably with specialization or relevant experience in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work.
