Staff Nurse – Nursing Department
NIMMS Multi-Speciality Hospital is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Department and provide safe, quality and patient-centered nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition and nursing observations.
- Administer medicines, injections and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during procedures, examinations and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, patient files, medication charts and other documentation.
- Ensure proper patient hygiene, comfort, safety and infection-control practices.
- Assist in patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
- Monitor IV lines, drains, catheters and other patient-care requirements as applicable.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in CPR/emergency management.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables and nursing supplies.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and other healthcare departments.
- Provide appropriate communication and support to patients and their attendants.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, infection-control guidelines and NABH standards.
- Attend training programs, meetings, drills and other activities as assigned.
- Perform duties as per the assigned roster, including rotational/day/night shifts.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration is mandatory.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Hospital/ward/ICU experience will be an added advantage.
