Job Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and customers. The role is responsible for delivering excellent hospitality, managing reservations, handling guest requests, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience in the hotel and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome hotel guests and restaurant customers warmly
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle room reservations, table bookings, and inquiries
- Attend phone calls, emails, and online booking requests
- Provide information about hotel rooms, restaurant menu, services, and facilities
- Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and service teams
- Handle guest complaints and provide quick solutions
- Maintain guest records and daily reports
- Prepare invoices, receive payments, and maintain billing records
- Support restaurant reservations and customer seating arrangements
- Ensure professional guest service standards are maintained
- Maintain front desk area cleanliness and presentation
- Assist management in daily operations
Required Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly approach
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of hotel/restaurant operations
- Ability to multitask and work in shifts
- Problem-solving ability
- Team coordination skills
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred
- Freshers & experienced candidates can apply
- Previous experience in hotel/restaurant front office preferred
