Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for managing all store operations, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely material availability for production, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while ensuring proper inventory control.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct periodic stock verification, and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA/QC, and Dispatch to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, preservation, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Supervise store personnel, maintain housekeeping, and ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
- Prepare inventory reports, monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in stores and inventory management, preferably in a transformer or manufacturing industry.
