Quality Analyst (Software Tester / QA Engineer)
Job Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA Engineer) with strong testing fundamentals to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications. The role involves manual testing, test planning, defect tracking, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test cases and test plans.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Coordinate with developers to resolve defects and ensure timely closure.
- Validate API responses using tools like Postman (if applicable).
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Ensure application performance and reliability before release.
- Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Prepare test reports and maintain proper testing documentation.
- Suggest improvements in testing processes and quality standards.

Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Familiarity with database queries (basic SQL knowledge preferred).
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium or similar).
- Knowledge of performance testing basics.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Experience working in an IT services or product-based company.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
