Role Profiles
We are looking for a Linux Administrator who will be responsible for Linux servers, including Cloud, hosted and On-premise.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain Linux servers on AWS/ Google cloud server’s
- Configuration Management, Administration and Operations practices
- Maintain high availability of the services running on Linux and Cloud servers
- Troubleshoot issue with Linux VMs and services
- Monitor the Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure and proactively take measures to ensure HA
- Create tools to help teams across various locations make the most out of the available infrastructure, such as create Shell Scripts & automize system administration tasks with email alerts.
- Ensure server and system wise infrastructure security
- Task automation of infrastructure and system administration related tasks
- Server Setup and monitoring using tools like Nagios, Cacti etc.. Setting up alerts for key stake holder’s
- Interface to other teams in Operations, Development and Service Desk
Competencies & Educational Requirements
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud or Ms Azure is a plus.
- Excellent Linux skills, experience with Redhat Linux Enterprise and/or SuSe Linux Enterprise
- Proficiency in ssh, Rsync, Scp, Shell, YUM, Rpm, commands
- Knowledge & Experience on Shell scripting
- Minimum qualification criteria of being a Bachelors in Science, IT, BE, MCA or related field with an added benefit
- Minimum experience of 3+ years
