Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and result-oriented PPC Manager to oversee and optimize our production planning and control processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales demand and manufacturing capacity, ensuring that production runs smoothly, resources are utilized efficiently, and deliveries are made on time while maintaining our strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Develop, implement, and manage master production schedules (MPS) and daily/weekly execution plans to maximize machinery and labor utilization.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials (rubber compounds, chemicals, inserts) are available in alignment with the production timeline to prevent downtime.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze plant capacity, machine efficiency, and workforce availability to balance workloads and eliminate production bottlenecks.
- Inventory & Scrap Management: Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels. Implement strategies to minimize waste, rubber scrap, and carrying costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central liaison between Sales/Marketing (for demand forecasting), Production (for execution), and Quality Assurance (for standards compliance).
- Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Plan vs. Actual output, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the manufacturing lifecycle and reduce lead times.
Qualifications & SkillsRequirementDescriptionEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management is a strong plus.
Experience
5 to 8+ years of experience in PPC, ideally within the rubber, plastics, automotive components, or heavy manufacturing industries.
Software Skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or industry-specific software) and advanced MS Excel.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of compounding, molding, extrusion processes, and inventory control techniques.Soft SkillsExcellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and sharp analytical thinking under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
