Interior firm Situated in Kollam is looking for a detail-oriented Cutting List Specialist to join our interior design and furniture manufacturing team. Candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cutting lists, optimizing material usage, and coordinating with the production team to ensure efficient manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D Drawing and cutting lists from approved 3D design.
- Optimize sheet layouts to minimize material wastage.
- Calculate material quantities and prepare production reports.
- Coordinate with designers, production, and procurement teams.
- Verify dimensions and specifications before production.
- Maintain accurate records of cutting lists and material consumption.
- Assist in production planning and ensure timely execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in furniture production, joinery, or cutting list preparation.
- Strong knowledge of modular furniture and sheet material optimization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel. Experience with Cut List Plus, SketchUp, or relevant software is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
