Job Description: Node.js Developer
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side programming with Node.js and experience in building scalable IoT solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software that integrates various IoT devices and platforms.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Design and Development: Develop robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js to support IoT solutions.
- API Integration: Create and maintain APIs and connections for seamless communication between IoT devices and applications.
- Data Management: Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms for real-time and historical data from IoT devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IoT systems.
- Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code and debug issues as they arise.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Security: Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure secure communication between devices and servers.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and systems developed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js.
- Technical Skills: - Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js. - Experience with API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of MQTT protocols
- Familiarity with IoT platforms and communication protocols
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures will be an additional benefit.
